Green Valley Women’s Invitational
|
| Due to the recent Board of Directors decision of the main club on April 3, 2008, the Green Valley Women’s Invitational is no longer an 18–hole Green Valley Women’s Golfer event. It is now a Green Valley Country Club event and this will be the last year that the 18–hole group will exclusively run this event. In 2009 there will be an Invitational Committee made up of women members from all parts of the club that participate in this event. There will be working ladies that don’t belong to either the 9er’s or the Green Valley Women Golfers group as well as representatives from the 9er’s and the Green Valley Women Golfers. This way the workload is shared by all entities that participate in the Invitational. The guidelines for participation remain the same: All members and their guests have to have 10 rounds posted in a legitimate handicap system by no later than July 1st of each year. These rounds can be played anywhere and if they are 9–hole rounds you will need 10 front nine and 10 back nine scores posted. All players have to play to a handicap no higher than a 36. No Green Valley CC member can be a guest. All monies have to be paid for you and your guest by June 1st of each year. If you or your guest does not meet these requirements you can either pick another guest that does or have your money refunded. No exceptions! |
