Algebra I |
First course in college prep math curriculum. Introduces Algebraic concepts including solving equations, factoring , graphing , and the quadratic formula. Teaches the California Standards for Algebra I. |
Survey of Math |
For students that have passed Algebra I but do not wish to continue to Geometry. A course that offers an overview of advanced math topics in a non rigorous manner. |
Exit Exam |
For Juniors or Seniors that have not passed the Exit Exam. This class is designed to the individual student to help improve their skills to give them a better chance to pass the CHSEE. |
Geometry |
College prep Geometry course that focuses on the fundamentals of Geometry , including concepts and properties of two dimensional figures. Teaches the California Standards for Geometry |
Algebra II |
Expands on the concepts studied in Algebra I and looks at additional topics, such as, logarithms, conic sections, probability, and statistics. Teaches the California Standards for Algebra II. |
Algebra II-XL |
Similar to Algebra II but studies topics in greater depth. |
Trig/Analysis |
This year long course is actually two courses in one. The first semester focuses on the six trig functions and their applications. The second semester is devoted to an introduction to the basic concepts of Calculus |
Trig/Analysis HP |
Covers the same concepts as Trig/Analysis but in greater depth and prepares students for entrance into AP Calculus. |
Statistics |
Introduces students to the basic concepts of probability and statistics. During the year-long course, time is also spent reviewing important concepts from Algebra II and exploring the concept of limits and how they relate to the foundation of Statistics and Calculus. |
AP Calculus HP |
College level Calculus course whose focus is the AP Exam. Students passing the AP Exam earn college credit. |
