Vacaville High School Graduation Requirements

Earn 220 credits in grades 9 – 12

Included in the 220 credits, passing grades in the following subjects:
English – 40 credits
Social Studies – 30 credits, including:
  1. World History, Culture and Geography in grade 10
  2. US History in grade 11
  3. Government in grade 12
  4. Economics in grade 12
Mathematics – 20 credits (including completion of Algebra I)
Science – 20 credits
  1. 10 credits in Physical Science or a year of Chemistry
  2. 10 credits in Life Science, Biology, Human Anatomy or two semester classes in Agriculture
Foreign Language or Fine Arts – 10 credits in one area
Physical Education – 20 credits (10 credits must be in 9th grade)
Health – 5 credits in 9th grade
